Arts of Spiritual Conversations

Walking Alongside People Who Believe Differently

By Mary Schaller & John Crilly

Want to have a spiritual conversation with someone you meet while shopping, waiting at the airport or wherever you are? Opening a spiritual conversation is not always the easiest thing to do and sometimes we will mess it up from the beginning. Feel more confident and less uncomfortable about sharing your faith with help in this informative book. The authors share some conversations that have gone wrong and nine ways to improve future conversations.

The book is divided into four parts, getting ready, getting started, keeping it going and ongoing spiritual conversations. Each part is divided into three easy to understand methods of improving your spiritual conversations. They use examples of how Jesus [what better teacher could we have] would have conversations with people, in example, the woman at the well, the man at the healing pool and others from scripture. Discover questions and practices are offered at the end of each chapter.

I think this is a very helpful book for those who want to evangelize and do what Jesus asked us to do, to spread the word to all.

I received this book free from Tyndale Blog Network Review Program. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own. I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 255
