Feel more confident and less uncomfortable about sharing your faith with help in this informative book. Out Of Egypt

By Connilyn Cossette

A beautiful story of a young Egyptian girl, named Kiya, who was sold into slavery when her family hits hard times. She has to give up her old life of luxury and serve a mistress who takes pleasure in humiliating her. She becomes friends with a Hebrew slave girl that help her through the abuse and finds a new meaning to life. While in service to her new master, Egypt starts going through the plagues set upon them by God to get Pharaoh to set the Hebrews free. The story gives a new way of seeing the plagues, how they affected the Egyptians. The author is very descriptive and sheds new light on how much the Egyptian people suffered. When the Hebrews are set free by Pharaoh. Kiya, her mother and brother leave with her new friend’s family and start a new life. They overcome many adversities and see the miracle of the parting of the Red Sea and other miracles that God does to save the Hebrews.

The story is a love story, a story of friendship, a story of struggles and story of finding new life. Well-written and enjoyable to read, in-depth details and a book that was hard to put down once I got started reading.

Man Myth Messiah

MAN MYTH MESSIAH

Answering History’s Greatest Question

By Rice Broocks

Who was Jesus? Just a man, a good teacher, or was He a myth, a made up story, or was He the true messiah promised by God in the Old Testament? Rice Broocks will answer this question in his book Man, Myth, Messiah. . Using the Holy Bible and other historical writing Rice shares the facts and factious stories that have been passed down for centuries by other religions and groups.  The facts Rice share proves who Jesus was, why He was here. Rice has divided his information into 10 chapters of information that include what skeptics believe, why the Bible is reliable, why Jesus had to die and many other details. One chapter is answering the call to discipleship and another is on preparing to share the Gospel.

I found the book very interesting, especially the stories of the myths. The book contains a large amount of information.  Use this book in discussion groups and/or study groups to understand who Jesus really is.

Proof That God Is Real

By Ralph Crawford

Ralph Crawford puts together some amazing facts about the creation of the Universe, Earth, and Man. The information he shares is very in-depth and informative, sometimes almost like reading a science book. In twelve chapters, he covers every possible theory that is available, from Darwin to God's Creation, covering the pros and cons of all. The details are easy to understand and gets the authors point across. One chapter compares biology, logic, and another show phenomenon’s that has occurred around the world that some believe to be miracles. The last chapter is about the blood of Jesus and the way to salvation. The author shows that our Universe had to be created by a intelligent being, God, and that it just did not happen by chance. He also shows the love of God and why God wants us to be with Him in eternity.

I found the book well written and a must read for those who doubt creation. The author has covered every theory and has, in my opinion, proves that God is real and the creator. A collect of all the facts contained in one small book but with a very large meaning.
