Living For Christ In The Daily Grind
A collection of writing of J. Heinrich Arnold relating to three different subjects; The Disciple, The Church and The Kingdom of God. Each section is divided into topics;
Under the Disciple; repentance, faith, conversion and nine others.
Under the Church; forgiveness, unity, baptism and thirteen others.
Under the Kingdom of God; Jesus, the cross, the Holy Spirit and three others.
Over two hundred personal notes and letters of J. Heinrich Arnold, compiled and edited by people who knew him. He was a member and elder in the church community known as the Bruderhof , or place of brothers.
This collection of writings, sometimes sensitive, sometimes provocative, are the view point of J. Heinrich Arnold and is a new expanded edition with a forward written by Henri J. M. Nouwen. References to scripture verses are offered for some of the writings. This is not a devotional book, it is a book of one man’s thoughts that he wants to share with others.
I received this book free from Handlebar Marketing for purpose of this review, I was not required to write a positive review, the opinions I have expressed are my own.
