STEALING FROM GOD
Why Atheists Need God To Make Their Case
By Frank Turek
Stealing from God shows how many atheists try to disprove God existence end up proving His existence.
The author uses C-R-I-M-E-S for his lay out of chapters.
C – Causality
R – Reason
I - Information & Intentionality
M – Morality
E – Evil
S - Science
The four-point case for mere Christianity
The author shares debates and arguments that have taken place between atheists and theists. The arguments, on all subjects, are covered in each of the above-mentioned chapters. Whichever side you want to agree with, you will find something of interest. (The science arguments get deep and I found it a little hard to follow at times, then I am not a scientist.) Many questions are asked and answered; the author proves his point of the book that the atheists need God to make their case. His last chapter titled Conclusion, which states that God will not force you into heaven against your will.
I will end with the thought; Why, if the atheists do not believe in God, do they work so had to prove He doesn't exist?

BELIEVE Living The Story Of The Bible To Become Like Jesus General Editor Randy Frazee Do you know what you believe and why it matters? Need answers to these questions; · What do I believe? · What should I do? · Who am I becoming? This book can help with the answers. Randy Frazee divides these three questions into ten chapters each with a number of short remarks and then quotes from the New International Version of the Bible. The three sections are; Think, Act and Be. Think is what do I believe about God, personal God, salvation, the Bible and six others. Act is what should I do about worship, prayer, total surrender, to name just three of the ten. Be will answer the question who am I becoming and covers love, joy, peace, hope, are among the ten in this section. His choice of quotes from the Bible lets God's word answer the questions. I found the book easy to read and contains a wealth of information. The book can be used as a Bible study and should offer some great discussions for group study. In addition, the book would be great for new Christians to learn the Bible. STORM Hearing Jesus For The Times We Live In By Jim Cymbala with Jennifer Schuchmann What is happening in the church in America today? Is the light of Jesus that we shine before people, growing dark? Has a storm cut us off from our power source? Is the church of Christ disappearing into a dark night? These are the questions we, as Christians, need to be asking ourselves. Quoting Jim from the book:
"I believe followers of Jesus in America are on the cusp of something horrible. I, and many others, see the early warning signs all around. You may see them too. I want you to consider these specifically." He then explains these three warning signs, 1. We're not as big as we think, 2. Personal transformation is rare, and 3. Biblical literacy is declining In this book, Jim Cymbala addresses what is taking place in America today. Jim offers help to weather the storm and how we need to get God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit back into our church services and our lives. He shares experiences of people who have done this. In their own words, they describe what has taken place in their own lives. Some of the things talked about are disturbing and unsettling, but are things that we need to be aware of. In America, we have pushed God out, some of our preachers are more concerned about the number of people attending church then telling them about Jesus and the Holy Spirit. I found this book easy reading and thought provoking, a book with a lot to offer all Christians to live and share the light of Jesus and how we need to keep the light from being darkened by the storm. Jesus is the light, keep that light lit, keep the storm from darkening that light.
