THE STORY OF THE VOICE by David B Capes with Chris Seay and James F Couch Jr.

The Voice is a translation of the Bible that has been out for a few years. I had done a review on The Voice in the fall of 2011. I thought the translation was easy to read and understand. There is a background on how it came about and information on the contributors included in The Voice Bible. This book goes into a detail of how the translation came about and the contributors connected with the translation. You will find bios of the contributors and what each contributed to The Voice.

You will also learn the method of translating some of the Greek and Hebrew words to English. The facts are interesting and for a pastor or Sunday school teacher thinking about using The Voice, it should be helpful for them to know just how close to the original language they tried to keep this translation. Even if you are looking to teach from The Voice this book is helpful in giving you a full understanding of the translation.

I received this book free from the publisher through the BookSneeze®.com <http://BookSneeze®.com> book review bloggers program. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own. I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 255
